Let the Royal Fontevraud Abbey surprise you by visiting it by yourself. You will find information about the history of the site as well as its residents all along your visit.
A visit guide is at your disposal for free at the ticket office. Audio-guides are also available at 4.5€.

Via a specially developed iPad application, your 7 to 14 years old can share the enjoyment of your visit to Fontevraud Royal Abbey. Armed with their iPad, children go looking for ‘boZZons’, little creatures that hide around the Abbey, as you follow your choice of a day in the life of a nun or of a prisoner. At each stage of the game, they discover historical facts about the space where they are standing, and play a mini video game relating to it (planting vegetables in the vegetable garden, for example).
